The Career Guidance Unit of the University of Jaffna successfully organized the “Competitive Exams Preparation – Lecture Series” on 07th January 2026 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the Library Auditorium.
The programme was conducted for students from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science with the aim of supporting students in preparing for competitive examinations and enhancing their general awareness and analytical thinking abilities.
The resource person for the session was S. Kogilan, Teacher at J/ Chavakachcheri Hindu College, who conducted an informative lecture on General Knowledge. The session covered important areas commonly included in competitive examinations and provided practical guidance on examination preparation strategies, current affairs awareness, and effective learning methods.
A total of 15 students from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science participated in the programme and actively engaged in the discussions and activities conducted during the session.
The lecture series served as a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen their knowledge and improve their readiness for future competitive examinations and career opportunities.
