Champions Skills Development Programme Batch VII, Phase III – Day 03

The Otthulaippu organized the “Champions Skills Development Programme Batch VII, Phase III – Day 03” on 07th February 2026 from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the Physics Mini Auditorium for first-year students of the Faculty of Arts.

The programme was conducted with the objective of strengthening students’ problem-solving abilities and emotional intelligence, enabling them to respond effectively to academic, social, and personal challenges.

The resource person for the programme was Pramila Jegadeesan, Human Resources Inner Shift Coach from Chennai. She facilitated interactive sessions on the following topics:

• Problem Solving Skills
• Handling Emotions

During the sessions, students were guided on systematic approaches to problem-solving, decision-making techniques, and strategies for managing emotions in challenging situations. The programme also emphasized self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and positive thinking as key components of personal development.

A total of 46 first-year students from the Faculty of Arts actively participated in the programme and engaged enthusiastically in discussions, activities, and experiential learning exercises conducted throughout the day.

The programme served as a valuable platform for students to enhance their emotional intelligence and develop critical life skills essential for their academic and future professional success.
