Training Session under the Champions Skills Development Programme Conducted by Batch VI, Faculty of Hindu Studies

The Otthulaippu organized a “Training Session under the Champions Skills Development Programme Conducted by Batch VI, Faculty of Hindu Studies” on 08th February 2026 from 1.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. at the Physics Mini Auditorium.

The programme was conducted for first-year students from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Hindu Studies with the objective of promoting peer learning, leadership development, communication, and teamwork through student-led training activities.

The training sessions were facilitated by the following student trainers from Batch VI, Faculty of Hindu Studies:

• Kanes Manjula
• Thiruppathi Santhosa
• Nagasuntharam Thanarupy
• Thevaseelan Kenusa
• Siththiravelayutham Vaishnavi

The session included interactive activities and discussions designed to enhance students’ personal development, confidence, communication skills, and collaborative learning abilities. Participants were encouraged to actively engage with peers and develop leadership qualities through practical learning experiences.

A total of 50 first-year students from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Hindu Studies participated in the programme and actively engaged in the training activities conducted during the session.

The programme served as a valuable platform for peer mentoring and experiential learning while encouraging students to strengthen their interpersonal and leadership skills.
