Champions Skills Development Programme Batch VII, Phase III – Day 01

The Otthulaippu organized the “Champions Skills Development Programme Batch VII, Phase III – Day 01” on 02nd February 2026 from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the Physics Mini Auditorium for first-year students of the Faculty of Arts.

The programme was conducted with the objective of consolidating learning from previous sessions and introducing key concepts related to leadership development, thereby strengthening students’ personal and professional competencies.

The resource person for the programme was Pramila Jegadeesan, Human Resources Inner Shift Coach from Chennai. She facilitated interactive sessions on the following topics:

• Recap of Previous Workshops
• Leadership Styles

During the sessions, students revisited key concepts from earlier training sessions and engaged in discussions that reinforced their learning. The leadership component focused on different leadership styles, their applications, and the importance of adapting leadership approaches in academic, social, and professional contexts.

A total of 47 first-year students from the Faculty of Arts actively participated in the programme and engaged enthusiastically in discussions, group activities, and interactive learning exercises conducted throughout the day.

The programme provided a valuable platform for students to strengthen their leadership understanding and build upon the skills developed in earlier phases of the Champions Skills Development Programme.
