Champions Skills Development Programme Batch VII, Phase II – Day 03

The Otthulaippu organized the “Champions Skills Development Programme Batch VII, Phase II – Day 03” on 31st January 2026 from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the Physics Mini Auditorium for first-year students of the Faculty of Arts.

The programme was conducted with the objective of improving students’ communication abilities and presentation skills, which are essential for academic achievement, leadership, and professional development.

The resource person for the programme was Pramila Jegadeesan, Human Resources Inner Shift Coach from Chennai. She conducted interactive sessions on the following topics:

• Communication Skills
• Presentation Skills

During the sessions, students were introduced to effective verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, public speaking methods, confidence building, and strategies for delivering impactful presentations. The programme also emphasized interpersonal communication, active listening, teamwork, and professional interaction skills.

A total of 48 first-year students from the Faculty of Arts actively participated in the programme and engaged enthusiastically in the practical activities, discussions, and presentation exercises conducted throughout the day.

The programme served as a valuable platform for students to strengthen their communication and presentation competencies and prepare themselves for future academic and career opportunities.
