The Otthulaippu organized the “Champions Skills Development Programme Batch VII, Phase I” on 23rd January 2026 from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. at the Hoover Auditorium for first-year students of the Faculty of Arts.
The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing students’ personal development, motivation, educational awareness, and career readiness. It aimed to guide students in building positive attitudes, improving self-confidence, and preparing for future academic and professional success.
The resource person for the programme was Pramila Jegadeesan, Human Resources Inner Shift Coach from Chennai. She conducted several interactive and motivational sessions focusing on:
- Attitude towards a Student’s Life – Education & Behavior
- Motivation towards the Importance of Education
- Career Guidance
During the sessions, students were encouraged to develop positive attitudes towards education, improve their personal and interpersonal skills, and understand the importance of career planning and lifelong learning. The programme also emphasized discipline, goal setting, leadership, and effective decision-making in academic and professional life.
A total of 321 first-year students from the Faculty of Arts actively participated in the programme and benefited from the motivational discussions and practical guidance shared throughout the sessions.
The programme served as an inspiring platform for students to strengthen their personal development and prepare themselves for future educational and career opportunities.
