USBus Programme – Day 02

The American Spaces successfully conducted the “USBus Programme” on 28th April 2026 from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the Library Auditorium. The programme brought together students and staff members for an engaging and educational experience focused on leadership, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship.

The event featured several distinguished resource persons who shared their expertise and practical insights with the participants.

Anton Remoshihan, International Consultant in Social Development and Non-Formal Learning and Founder of CREATE Initiatives International, conducted a session on “Cultivating Excellence – Leadership Strategies for the 21st Century.” The session emphasized essential leadership qualities, personal growth, teamwork, and innovative thinking required for success in the modern world.

Priyatharshiny Vijayaratnam, Consultant and Master Trainer, delivered an informative presentation on “Staying Safe Online: Cybersecurity Lessons, Trends, and Tools from the U.S.” The session highlighted current cybersecurity challenges, online safety practices, digital responsibility, and practical tools to ensure secure use of digital platforms.

Vythehi Narendran, Entrepreneurship Trainer, conducted an inspiring session titled “Start Small, Dream Big: The Power of Youth Entrepreneurship.” The presentation encouraged students to develop entrepreneurial mindsets, explore innovative business ideas, and understand the importance of youth-led initiatives in economic and social development.

The programme attracted 120 participants, including students and staff members, who actively engaged in the sessions and discussions throughout the day. The event provided a valuable platform for learning, networking, and developing essential life and career skills.

The USBus Programme served as an excellent opportunity to expose participants to global perspectives, practical knowledge, and emerging trends in leadership, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship.
